I'm so excited- I'm off to the Quilt and Craft Show today. It's been a long time, trust me. Even more exciting- I'm going all by myself. It's also been quite a while since I had a day to myself. I'm taking the camera- hopefully I'll remember to stop and take some pictures.

ReplyDeleteOh I wish I'd known you were going today - I would have changed my plans and gone today instead of yesterday! How did you enjoy it? Did your credit card escape meltdown?! I've just posted a bit about the show on my blog, and posted a heap of photos of the quilts on my Quilt Show blog, if you want to see them all again, lol!

ReplyDeleteGina, I did enjoy it and was remarkably restrained. I really can't justify buying too much more, especially fabric. I wish I was quilting at the moment, or better still, in the business again. The fabrics are going back to sumptuous traditional designs which I LOVE. I did buy some handspun wool from the lovely Melissa at Stranded in Oz as I'm still in my knitting phase.
I took my camera but didn't get it out! I forgot how crowded it gets in there and balancing bags and keeping hands free. I was also happy just to blend and take it all in; didn't feel like drawing attention to myself and making people self-conscious this time. I will photograph the yarn and the eventual finished projects, I promise!
